Position Title: Intern

POSITION SUMMARY:
Act as the office manager for Aeronautix, LLC in Columbia, Missouri.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:

  • Manage company financial activity in QuickBooks.
  • Manage employee, vendor and customer activity in QuickBooks
  • Support project quoting activity as necessary.
  • Maintain project document files in both paper and electronic formats.
  • Schedule meetings; record and distribute minutes and action items.
  • Write correspondence, assign tracking numbers, and prepare accurate FAA submittals.
  • Prepare shipping documents and deliver for shipping as necessary.
  • Manage document control process.
  • Log incoming correspondence, distribute copies and file originals in project files.
  • Log new document numbers and distribute to engineers as required.
  • Expedite drawings, reports, and EO’s (Engineering Orders) to engineers and FAA DER’s (Designated Engineering Representatives) for signature

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accept and complete other job related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering major in good academic standing

Office Manager

Position Title: Office Manager
Job Status: Exempt Employee

POSITION SUMMARY:
Act as the office manager for Aeronautix, LLC at their Columbia, Missouri location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:

Associate Engineer

Position Title: Associate Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY:
Aeronautix, based out of Columbia, Missouri, specializes in the design, installation, and certification of aeronautical products. We are seeking entry level engineers who can provide invaluable contribution to the development, implementation and FAA certification of an array of aeronautical products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:

  • Support the development of organized project proposals, project schedules and project certification plans
  • Develop logically defined project documentation structure
  • Coordinate internal groups to communicate, execute and meet project goals
  • Generate conception, layout and detail design of aircraft structural components and systems
  • Prepare timely and accurate manuals, reports, plans and analyses required for FAA certification projects
  • Provide engineering support for the installation and functional checkout of aircraft systems
  • Conduct component and aircraft ground test activity
  • Participate in experimental flight test activity
  • Reduce, evaluate and logically present test data

Aeronautix, based out of Columbia, Missouri, specializes in the design, installation, and certification of aeronautical products. We are seeking highly qualified senior engineers, with a minimum of eight years working experience, who can lead the development, implementation and FAA certification of an array of aeronautical products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:

  • Coordinate with outside customers to understand and meet their expectations consistently
  • Lead the development of organized project proposals, project schedules and project certification plans
  • Ensure logically defined project documentation structure
  • Coordinate internal groups to communicate, execute and meet project goals
  • Provide professional company interface with FAA personnel
  • Lead the conception, layout and detail design of aircraft structural components and systems
  • Lead the preparation of timely and accurate manuals, reports, plans and analyses required for FAA certification projects
  • Lead engineering support activity for the installation and functional checkout of aircraft systems
  • Lead component and aircraft ground test activity
